In the world of medicine and health care, learning never stops. Nowhere is this more true than the field of chiropractic.

At Texas Chiropractic College, we take great pride in fostering the development of new knowledge through a variety of progressive and comprehensive continuing education programs. TCC’s Division of Postgraduate Studies meets the needs of the profession through diverse learning opportunities ranging from extensive diplomate level classes of more than 300 classroom hours, to 12-hour weekend seminars.

Programs Leading to Diplomate Status
TCC offers programs which, upon completion, make doctors eligible for examination leading to diplomate status in:

  • Diagnosis, Internal Disorders & Preventative Medicine (D.A.B.C.I.)
  • Chiropractic Clinical Nutrition (D.A.B.C.N.)

Certification Programs
TCC offers certification programs in the following areas:

  • Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.)
  • Acupuncture
  • Kinesiotaping
  • Applied Clinical Nutrition

Weekend Programs
TCC offers a wide variety of weekend programs, both on and off campus. Areas covered include:

  • Physical medicine
  • Management of chronic pain patients
  • Personal injury
  • Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy
  • Degenerative joint disease
  • Acquired immune deficiency syndrome
  • Surface EMG
  • Advanced neurospinal imaging (MRI and CT)
  • Meridian therapy
  • Office procedures and clinical case reporting

Course work taken through any of the offerings listed above does not contribute to full-time or part-time standing as a student at TCC, and financial aid is not available.

Requirements for Participation
Doctors of chiropractic are welcome at any of TCC’s postgraduate and continuing education program offerings. In addition, a number of the extension courses are available to chiropractic students. Graduates of other primary health care institutions must receive prior approval from the Dean of the Postgraduate Division. Those wishing to enroll in any of these classes are encouraged to contact:
