NOTE: Curriculum change effective Spring 2010... message from the Registrar
The Diagnostic Imaging III course (TR-6) will be split into two separate courses. The lab portion of the old Diagnostic Imaging III course will be renamed X-Ray Positioning (DI-6102). It will be a two hour lab course worth one credit hour and will remain in Trimester Six. The lecture portion of the old Diagnostic Imaging III course will be renamed Physics Principles of Diagnostic Imaging (DI-3220). It will be a two hour lecture course worth two credit hours and will be moved to Trimester Three. The new lecture course will be taught concurrently in both TR-3 and TR-6 for the next several trimesters in order to expose students to all necessary material during the transition phase.
The curricular changes will not add any additional hours to the total TCC curriculum and are in response to a thorough analysis of the Diagnostic Imaging program and student feedback.
