Vice President of Enrollment Management

Fred Zuker, Ph.D.

Dr. Zuker joined TCC in July 2009 and has a lengthy and distinguished career in the areas of enrollment management, admissions and student life at six different institutes of higher education dating back to 1971. Most recently he served as the President (2004-08), then Chancellor (2008), of Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn. Prior to his stay at Lambuth, Dr. Zuker spent nine years at the University of Dallas working as the Dean of Enrollment & Student Life (1995-2001) and the Vice President and Dean of Alumni & Student Life (2001-2004). He earned his Ph.D in counseling psychology from Duke University in 1982.

Associate Director of Admissions

Kristina Hanson, M.Ed.

After obtaining her Master of Education in Counseling & Guidance in 2005, Kristina began her career in higher education in Houston. Serving as an admissions counselor at both public and private universities, as well as a high school college guidance counselor, she has enjoyed working with students during their admissions experience. Now as Associate Director, Kristina leads the department and oversees the admission counselors and staff. She also serves as the advisor to the TCC Ambassadors. Kristina understands that finding the right "fit" in a college can be a challenge, and she is ready to help you learn whether TCC is the right fit for you.

Chrissy Burdsall

Region: Texas, New Mexico, and the Northeastern States
Before joining the admissions team at TCC, Chrissy worked for a busy chiropractic office in Clear Lake, Texas. Her enthusiasm for chiropractic and her desire to help in the admissions process is what brought her to TCC. As a transfer student from the University of Houston and a graduate from Texas State University, she understands the challenges students face during the admissions process. Chrissy is looking forward to helping future students with their transition onto campus.

Monique Lewis

Region: Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, and the Western States
Monique has been with TCC since December 2009 and is excited to inform prospective students about the benefits of attending TCC. An alumna of the University of Houston, she understands the importance of choosing the right school. She is a native Houstonian who is eager to discuss TCC. In addition to her counselor duties, Monique is taking an active role in the College's social media outreach as well as managing the Admission Office's web presence.

Jenna Rogers

Region: Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida and the Mid-American States
As a graduate from Birmingham-Southern College in 2010, Jenna distinctly remembers the admission process and is ready to help you in any way she can. She recently moved to Pasadena, Texas, after marrying her husband, a current student at Texas Chiropractic College. Jenna loves the school and the profession, and she is very excited to work with current and future students at TCC.

Laura Williams

Region: Texas, Alaska, Hawaii and International
After graduating from Texas A&M University in 2010, Laura began her career in healthcare administration in the Houston Medical Center. Shortly after her husband became a student at Texas Chiropractic College, she joined the admissions team. Laura is eager to share the benefits of a career in chiropractic. She is very proud of the school and is excited to assist future students in beginning their education at TCC.

Sarah Slovarp

Transcript Evaluator/Administrative Assistant

Sarah is a native Houstonian. She joined the TCC family in January 2008 as a member of the Postgraduate department then moved to Admissions in August 2008. Sarah really likes the people at TCC and loves meeting and working with new prospective students.

Debra Burks

Communication Coordinator/Administrative Assistant

Debra Burks joined the TCC team in Fall 2011. She attended San Jacinto Junior College and has been in the education field for the past eight years. Debra's passion is education, and she loves TCC and is very excited about working here with current and future students.
