Dean of Enrollment Management

Fred Zuker, PhD

Dr. Zuker joined TCC in July 2009 and has a lengthy and distinguished career in the areas of enrollment management, admissions and student life at six different institutes of higher education dating back to 1971. Most recently he served as the President (2004-08), then Chancellor (2008), of Lambuth University in Jackson, Tenn. Prior to his stay at Lambuth, Dr. Zuker spent nine years at the University of Dallas working as the Dean of Enrollment & Student Life (1995-2001) and the Vice President and Dean of Alumni & Student Life (2001-2004). He earned his Ph.D in counseling psychology from Duke University in 1982.

Director of Enrollment Management

David Anderson, DC

As Director of Enrollment Management at TCC, Dr. Anderson guides the department’s policies and procedures, oversees the admissions recruiters and staff, and initiates the student-led Ambassadors club as well as the Student Mentor Program. He joined the TCC staff in August 2009. Dr. Anderson has extensive experience in chiropractic higher education in the field of admissions and enrollment management. He is a 1987 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Admissions Counselors

Dr. Robert Cooper

Region: Texas, Louisiana, Alaska, Hawaii and International
After a 20-year career in enrollment management, Dr. Cooper decided to pursue a DC degree himself and is a graduate of TCC. Originally from Pennsylvania but a long-time Houstonian, he was on staff at an integrative medicine clinic and is currently a TCC admissions counselor while pursuing postgraduate education.

Kristina Hanson

Region: Texas, New Mexico, and the Northeastern States

After obtaining her Master of Education in Counseling & Guidance in 2005, Kristina began her career in higher education in Houston.  Serving as an admissions counselor at both public and private universities, as well as a high school college guidance counselor, she has enjoyed working with students during their admissions experience.  Kristina understands that finding the right "fit" in a college can be a challenge, and she is ready to help you learn whether TCC is the right fit for you.

Monique Lewis

Region: Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, Louisiana, and the Western States
Monique has been with TCC since December 2009 and is excited to inform prospective students about the benefits of attending TCC. An alumna of the University of Houston, she understands the importance of choosing the right school. She is a native Houstonian who is eager to discuss TCC.

Martha Phillips

As the primary in-office counselor, Martha enjoys helping prospective students learn more about TCC by providing information, tours, and admissions counseling.  Martha received her master’s degree from Radford University in 2008 and has prior experience working in students services.  Originally from Virginia, Martha recently moved to Houston; she already loves the area and TCC!

Sandra  Wilson

Region: Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida and the Mid-American States
Sandra joined the TCC family in December 2008. She enjoys working with prospective students alongside her happy co-workers.  Originally from New Jersey, Sandra has lived in Houston since 1984. She has seven plus years working with students and their families. Through her personal and professional experience she has gained strategies and insight to support and guide you through the admissions process.

Sarah Henley

Sarah is a native Houstonian.  She joined the TCC family in January 2008 as a member of the Postgraduate department then moved to Admissions in August. Sarah really likes the people at TCC and loves meeting new prospective students.

Regina Perez

Regina has been part of the TCC family since 1987, working in the Registrar’s Office and the Division of Postgraduate Studies before moving to the Admissions Office. Regina has seen a number of changes over the past 22 years, and she’s as happy as she’s ever been at TCC.
