PASADENA, Texas – The Texas Chiropractic College Board of Regents is pleased to announce a nation-wide search to identify and hire the 14th President in TCC's 106 years, and invites applications and recommendations for the Presidency.
A delegation of board members has been named to the presidential search committee, led by Dr. Monte Blue, TCC Board Chairman.
“A deliberative search process offers an important opportunity to understand and clarify the priorities and challenges of TCC,” said Dr. Blue. “The selection of the 14th President of Texas Chiropractic College is one of the most important tasks the Board of Regents has before it. I thank the members of the search committee for their help in developing a pool of qualified applicants to be considered by the full board.”

Having educated chiropractors for more than 100 years, TCC certainly has a storied past. We moved from San Antonio to Pasadena in the Greater Houston Metro Area in 1965 to find more room to grow. In 1976, TCC launched the first-of-its-kind Preceptorship Program, offering students a distinctive field practicum experience. In 1985, the College initiated the Hospital Rotation Program, placing TCC interns together with experts in sports medicine, family medicine, surgeons, orthopedists, and neurosurgeons in area hospitals. We opened our Assessment Center in 2006, and it has become the model of excellence in chiropractic education.
But more important than our past is our exciting future. Our gifted faculty aren’t only teachers demanding the best from our students. They are mentors and leaders, guiding our students through our challenging curriculum and supporting them every step of the way. And they are encouraging our students to engage more in research and participate in public outreach.
While it is a primary responsibility, educating future chiropractors isn’t the only way TCC is the future in health care. We offer quality care to general public through our Moody Health Center. Our clinic students are helping the community at large through programs with the Bridge Over Troubled Waters, El Centro de Corazon and Cenikor Foundation. Our outreach to the community additionally includes the MHC’s programs to provide first responders and active duty military personnel with free chiropractic care.
Our Office of Postgraduate Studies provides continuing education opportunities for doctors of chiropractic across the country and are always seeking to expand course offerings to meet the changing needs of health care professionals.
Regardless of your background, whether you are interested in a career in chiropractic, are a field practitioner seeking to expand your knowledge base, are a resident of the Greater Houston Metro Area with back pain… you are all welcome in the Texas Chiropractic College community.
Join us today and be a part of The Future of Health Care.
