PASADENA, Texas – The Texas Chiropractic College Board of Regents is pleased to announce a nation-wide search to identify and hire the 14th President in TCC's 106 years, and invites applications and recommendations for the Presidency.
A delegation of board members has been named to the presidential search committee, led by Dr. Monte Blue, TCC Board Chairman.
“A deliberative search process offers an important opportunity to understand and clarify the priorities and challenges of TCC,” said Dr. Blue. “The selection of the 14th President of Texas Chiropractic College is one of the most important tasks the Board of Regents has before it. I thank the members of the search committee for their help in developing a pool of qualified applicants to be considered by the full board.”
PASADENA, Texas - Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) renewed an articulation agreement with Lee College Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 to ensure students can continue to easily enroll in the TCC Doctor of Chiropractic program. Presidents from both institutions met at the Lee College campus to re-sign the agreement, which was initially endorsed in fall 2010. The arrangement allows Lee students who earn 90 undergraduate credit hours, maintain a minimum grade point average in specific science prerequisites and meet TCC requirements to automatically qualify for admission.
PASADENA, Texas - Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) will host its 2014 Gala, "Masquerade" in the Russell Auditorium on its Pasadena campus Saturday, April 5 from 6-11 p.m.
The event will feature music from DJ X, casino tables, a silent auction, raffles, and great food and drinks.
"The gala is a tremendous opportunity for our friends and leaders in the community and health care to gather for a night of support for the College and celebration," Dr. Fred Zuker, TCC Interim President said.

This agreement led to the creation of the Chiropractic Early Admission Program as part of SHSU’s Medical & Allied Health Programs (MAHP), and facilitates the admission and academic transfer of students from SHSU to TCC. This program ensures a seamless transition of students seeking to complete their Bachelor of Science degree from SHSU while at the same time pursuing a Doctor of Chiropractic degree through TCC. The agreement, which is effective immediately, will enable future and current SHSU students to complete both degrees in six years, with the first three occurring at SHSU and the final three at TCC.
"One of our goals at TCC is to build academic partnerships that are not only mutually beneficial to the institutions, but, more importantly, provide top-notch and cost effective educational opportunities to our students,” said Dr. Clay McDonald, TCC Provost/Senior Vice President. “We are thrilled to formalize this agreement with our friends at Sam Houston State. We have already benefitted from having some of their students enroll in our program, and this partnership streamlines the process for our next group of Bearkats to enroll.”
Dr. Jack C. Turner, director of MAHP noted that, “It’s two well-known institutions who now have the ability to work together synergistically to produce better students, both in terms of our students at Sam Houston State as well as at Texas Chiropractic College students. It affords everybody a new opportunity to capitalize on the other’s talents. We look forward to having our students take advantage of opportunities presented here at Texas Chiropractic College.”
