100 Years of Chiropractic Training in Pasadena, TX

Texas Chiropractic College has proudly been training future chiropractors since 1908. We are the fourth oldest chiropractic school in the United States and have built a reputation of excellence in training, academics, and professionalism. With an emphasis on high admission standards and a commitment to serving our students and our community, we have spent more than a century leading the way in holistic health education in Texas.

Focus on Innovation

Innovation has been an important part of our philosophy and growth. We know that a chiropractor is generally viewed as a health practitioner focused mainly on a non-medicinal approach to wellness. One of our chief goals as a chiropractic school, however, has been to integrate the field of chiropractic care into the mainstream healthcare community. We aim to illustrate its complementary usefulness when partnered with traditional forms of medicine. In this regard, we are considered innovative forerunners in the growth of chiropractic healthcare.

Our uniquely structured program includes laboratory instruction in pathology, training in x-ray and nutritional interventions and anatomical instruction by dissection. This type of instruction, in addition to our Preceptorship program, made our school the first of its kind in the U.S. to offer such comprehensive chiropractic training.

Commitment to Excellence in the Field of Holistic Healthcare

As leaders in the chiropractic community and within their own health specialties, our instructors take special care to engage and inspire aspiring chiropractors. They do this by holding the chiropractic profession in high regard and encouraging students to never stop learning. Beyond classroom instruction, our professors are continuously committed to expanding their own knowledge by doing research, attending workshops and pursuing advanced certifications and degrees.

Growing Strong into the 21st Century and Beyond

Starting with the construction of 5 new state-of-the-art buildings during the first 10 years of the 21st century, the Texas Chiropractic College is positioning itself as a top-notch leader in chiropractic education. New clinical and academic facilities include the:

  • Ligon Building - Campus Health Clinic
  • Moody Health Center - Chiropractic interns in their final year of training treat members of the community while being supervised by attending clinicians
  • Dr. Yasunori Iwama Education Center - An innovative 35,000-square-foot facility that features an auditorium, a large and well-equipped assessment center, classrooms and 45 faculty offices.

As the chiropractic profession continues to grow and prosper, Texas Chiropractic College is right at the forefront of that movement.
