Dr. John Demartini To Speak at TCC

TCC Alumnus, Founder of Demartini Institute Will Speak At Texas Chiropractic College during Chiropractic Health Month

Dr. John Demartini photoPASADENA, Texas –Texas Chiropractic College (TCC) is proud to welcome home Dr. John Demartini, Class of 1982, for a free lecture open to the public on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Russell Auditorium on the TCC campus.

“We are delighted to welcome one of our own back to our Pasadena campus,” noted Dr. Fred Zuker, Interim President of TCC. “This is a great opportunity for our students to hear from a man who has positively impacted so many lives around world, and was once a student like they are today.”

Dr. Demartini is a chiropractor, human behavioral specialist, educator and international authority on maximizing human awareness and potential. His lecture on October 8 is on "Overcoming Obstacles and Conquering Challenges." His studies have spanned numerous disciplines and his teachings provide answers and solutions to many of life’s questions and challenges. He has written over 40 published books and 160 manuscripts and has produced over 50 CD and DVD educational products. As an educator, he constantly travels the globe teaching students from all backgrounds and disciplines the workings of human behavior, how to understand and transform social dynamics, and how to activate potential by understanding human nature.

The month of October is also Chiropractic Health Month, which is a yearly event sponsored by the American Chiropractic Association. The theme for this year is Discover Chiropractic…Get Vertical. As part of this nationwide awareness campaign, TCC is also hosting the Honorable Sam Zakhem, former U.S. Ambassador to Bahrain, on October 2 who will speak about his chiropractic experience as a patient; and holding Community Day on October 19. Community Day will provide an opportunity for members of the TCC community to connect with each other and the public in a variety of ways including a 5K run, volunteer opportunities and campus service projects.
