Hurricane Season 2010

Today, June 1, marks the first day of the 2010 Hurricane Season which runs through the month of November. This year meteorologists are predicting 14 to 23 named storms and roughly 10 hurricanes. Are you prepared? Here are a few helpful links to help you get ready.

Visiting Scholar Dr. Will Evans to speak to TCC
Dr. Will Evans will be on campus June 21-22 to speak to TCC students. Dr. Evans is a 4th generation chiropractor from Eufaula, Alabama and a 1986
graduate of Logan College of Chiropractic. He has over 20 years of practice experience and is Director of Wellness Initiatives at Parker College Research Institute in Dallas, Texas.
His interests include modification of intern and physician behaviors related to patient health
promotion, smoking cessation research, including smoking ordinance modification and
infection control measures for chiropractic offices.
Come join us in welcoming Dr. Evans to TCC!

An Important Message from the Ohio State Board
This is a reminder from the Ohio State Chiropractic Board that all Ohio applicants for licensure who graduate from chiropractic college on or after June 30, 2010 must possess a bachelor, masters or doctorate degree, as required by Board Rule 4734-6-08 effective April 5, 2009. Please visit the OSCB's website at www.chirobd.ohio.gov for more information.
