This position is primarily responsible for the performing a variety of functions which involve the activities of the department, performing assignments that may be complex and technical in nature. Enters classes and mailings and assists in development of promotional material. Maintains attendance sheets for seminars. Assists in the development of postgraduate coursework and scheduling of classes as well as any travel arrangements or other planning needed for instructors or staff. Responsible for accounts receivable, payable and invoicing. Responsible for interdepartmental memos, letters to Doctors, and special reports for department. Responsible for picking up and sorting and distributing mail coming to and from department. Answers incoming calls, responds to inquiries and forwarding calls to appropriate individual when needed. Some College is preferred.

Pull medical charts for Interns and Attending Clinicians. Monitor check in and out of patient charts. Maintain inventory using WASP inventory program. Dispense supplements, supplies and supports to interns per MHC policies. Keep front lobby supplied at all times with SOAP Notes for patients to fill out before being seen each visit. Create new patient charts and keep surplus available at all times. Keep surplus copies of all up to date forms used by Interns and Attendings. Maintain an original copy file of forms so that clear, legible, copies can be made at all times.
Provide backup for Receptionist, Moody Health Center, when assigned.
Texas Chiropractic College and the Houston VAMC are seeking two doctors of chiropractic to fill two full-time positions at the VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. Applicants for the positions must be well-versed in evidence-informed chiropractic practice, diversified technique, flexion-distraction, and functional rehabilitation.
Doctors selected will have split responsibilities between the Houston VA Medical Center and will be affiliated with Texas Chiropractic College as adjunct faculty.
Doctors must have a current Texas DC License.
Salary range for each position is 81K to 100K based on qualifications.

The Attending Clinician serves within the College clinic system, providing care and/or direct supervision of patient care and assisting in the instruction of chiropractic interns in the various competencies necessary for the successful practice of chiropractic. The Attending Clinician also represents the Clinics and the College through active participation in service activities at the professional, community, and college levels. Consistent professional development and growth is expected.
The role of the Admission Counselor is to manage, recruit, counsel and enroll new students into Texas Chiropractic College Doctor of Chiropractic Program. Admission counselors work with prospective students regarding career choice, chiropractic profession information, prerequisite requirements, the TCC academic program as well as other questions pertaining to the college and campus life.
