Intramurals

The Department of Student Affairs and the Student Body Aassociation arrange for participation in city sponsored basketball, softball, volleyball, soccer and flag football programs. Often, these teams also attend the national Chiro Games held each year during the fall trimester. The Chiro Games give the students an opportunity to compete against other chiropractic colleges and develop relationships with students with like-minded interests.

Texas Chiropractic College had a successful showing at the 2008 Chiro Games, hosted by Treasure Coast Sports Commission and held at West Palm Beach, Fla., Sept. 18-20. The softball team took the silver medal for the second-consecutive year and the soccer team brought home the bronze.

The softball team consisted of Braxton Turnage, Matthew Ellender, Micah Richards, Gabe Caraway, Shane Sigg, Mark Dennis, Dustin Young, Willie Wall, Brandi Washer, Cristin Vitek, and Lisa Patel.

The soccer team consisted of David Blocksom, Reid Amedee, Brett and Kurt Martin, Josh Akerman, Dru Lopez and Shane Henry
