Student Texas Chiropractic Association

The chiropractic profession has a long and proud history in the state of Texas. One reflection of this is the Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA), a non-profit organization representing the rights of all Doctors of Chiropractic, their staff, and their patients throughout the state.

The Student Texas Chiropractic Association (STCA) was organized in 1971 and provides students at TCC with opportunities to:

  • Connect with practicing Doctors of Chiropractic across the state
  • Become acquainted with TCA functions, activities, and events
  • Develop professional leadership skills
  • Sharpen their abilities through the sharing of new knowledge in the field
  • Access the TCA Journal online

First trimester DC students pay for their STCA membership through the mandatory TR1 fee. If a student transfers from another chiropractic college and is already a member of STCA, the fee is waived.
