Reference Searches

The Reference and Information Services include literature searches, bibliographic database instruction, information retrieval and referral, and general library literacy training.

Interlibrary Loan

Books or periodical articles not available in the TCC Library may be obtained from another library via Interlibrary Loan.  Because the TCC Library maintains reciprocal agreements with other institutions across the country, most ILL’s can be supplied to our students free of charge.  Materials borrowed from a few libraries, however, may incur a lending charge based upon that institution’s policy.  Students are always notified of potential charges, and may opt to cancel their request.  ILL requests can be made in person, over the telephone, or emailed to the library via Blackboard.
