Hospital Rotation Program

As the first chiropractic college in the world to offer a hospital rotations program, TCC is the only chiropractic college that offers a full hospital rotations program in neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, family medicine, rheumatology and other medical fields to chiropractic students. We have been rotating through major hospitals in the Texas Medical Center - largest medical centers in the world - since 1986.

Our interns participate in rotations in the fields of orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, anesthesiology, family medicine, industrial and aerospace medicine, osteopathy, sports medicine, spine research, physical medicine and rehabilitation, rheumatology, and psychiatry, with more fields being added.

TCC's Hospital Rotation Program includes the following institutions:

  • University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC)-Hermann Hospital: Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Service
  • University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB)-Galveston: Department of Orthopedic and Rehabilitation, Department of Neurosurgery and Department of Spine Research
  • Baylor College of Medicine: Baylor Sports Medicine Institute
  • St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital: Neurosurgery Service
  • St. Joseph's Hospital: Neurosurgery Service
  • Methodist Hospital: Neurosurgery Service and Baylor Orthopedic Sports Medicine
  • Veterans Affairs Medical Center: Rheumatology Service
  • Memorial Hospital Southeast
  • Vista Medical Center Hospital
