Functional Nutrition helps chiropractors understand the crucial role of diet and holistically guides patients to healthier lifestyles and habits. \nModule 2 (Online\, Self-Paced) – Released March 25\, 2024\nThe Microbiota and Gut-Joint Connection in Health and Disease (12 CE Hours) \nIn functional medicine\, we see many patients with joint disorders. Some of our most common musculoskeletalconditions have an autoimmune component to their etiology\, which may account for their relentless progression anddifficulty in treatment. The role of dietary factors\, gut-related triggers\, inflammation\, autoimmunity\, and degenerationwill be discussed. Gut barrier integrity testing\, autoantibody assessments\, identifying environmental triggers\, andintestinal barrier healing and wellness protocols will also be presented. \nModule 3 (Online\, Self-Paced) – Released April 25\, 2024\nImmune Reboot: A Guide to Maximizing Immunity\, Restoring Gut Health\, and Optimizing Vitality (12 CE Hours) \nIn this new and incisive 12-hour presentation\, Dr. Robert Silverman reviews how the immune system works and then into the latest developments for improving immunity. In this incisive presentation\, you will gain insight into a comprehensive methodology that incorporates proven protocols into a clinically valuable system—one you can apply to your practice immediately.
