Applying to Texas Chiropractic College: Checklist

  1. When to Apply:
    Texas Chiropractic College accepts applications to the Doctor of Chiropractic program year-round. We strongly recommend that you submit your application at least 6 months prior to the term you wish to enroll.
  2. Application Fee:
    You will submit a one-time, nonrefundable $50 fee with your application.
  3. College Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended institutions must be sent directly to the Texas Chiropractic College Office of Admissions by the issuing institution or through an authorized third-party service, such as Clearinghouse or Parchment. Be sure to review our academic prerequisites to confirm your eligibility for admission.
  4. Personal Essay:
    Write a two- to three-page personal essay explaining why you want to become a chiropractor, and why you’ve chosen to earn your chiropractor degree at TCC. You’ll attach the essay to the online application.
  5. Background Check:
    We require a background check for all incoming students, and will request it during the admissions process.
  6. Meningitis Immunization:
    Per Texas state law, you must include proof of meningitis immunization or a waiver of conscience.

Applying to Texas Chiropractic College: International Students

TCC has a diverse, international student body that includes people from all over the world. If you are applying to TCC from outside the United States, your application will include:

  • Academic transcripts and coursework submitted through an evaluation service approved by the U.S. Department of Education
  • Evidence of financial resources sufficient to complete at least one full year at Texas Chiropractic College
  • Evidence of English proficiency in reading and writing via the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

 

SpanTran Evaluation Request Form

The SpanTran Evaluation Request Form will guide you through the application process to evaluate your foreign credentials for Texas Chiropractic College. You will need to upload scans of your academic documents (e.g. transcripts, diplomas), select the appropriate evaluation, translation, and verification options. Then make a payment with a credit or debit card. You will be provided a case reference number at the end.

To complete this application, you will need:

1) Copies of your official transcripts and diplomas in their original language

2) A scan of your passport or driver's license

3) Credit/debit card for payment (Visa, American Express, MasterCard, etc.)
