Transfer to Texas Chiropractic College

Transfer students are valued members of Texas Chiropractic College’s student body. TCC routinely admits students who’ve transferred from other chiropractic schools. If you’re interested in transferring to TCC, we’ll make every effort to help you achieve a successful transition.

Students transfer to TCC for many reasons. Some transfer to benefit from our evidence-based, practice-ready curriculum. Others seek the small classes and personal faculty attention that set TCC apart from most chiropractic colleges.

Whatever your reason for transferring to Texas Chiropractic College, our Office of Enrollment Services will help you every step of the way. To get started, read the transfer requirements below. Then follow the step-by-step guide for transferring to TCC.

Requirements for Transferring to TCC

To be considered for admission as a transfer student, you must meet the following requirements. If you don’t meet all the requirements, or if you’re not sure whether you can fulfill them, contact the Office of Enrollment Services at (800) 468-6839 or email us at admissions@txchiro.edu.

To transfer to Texas Chiropractic College, you must:

  • Have a minimum grade-point average of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale in your previous chiropractic program
  • Hold credits from a chiropractic school accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE), or from a college program accredited by a nationally recognized agency as a first professional degree in a health science discipline
  • Complete at least one-third of your total Doctor of Chiropractic credits at Texas Chiropractic College
  • Earn your clinical credits at Texas Chiropractic College

Within the framework outlined above, TCC will review all transfer credits that you earned with a grade of C or above (2.00 or above on a 4.00 grade-point scale) to determine which credits are accepted. Only credits that have been earned within the last five years are eligible for review.

The Texas Chiropractic College Registrar’s Office will review transfer credits and make a final determination on acceptance of transfer credit.
