Rotary District 5890 awards Texas Chiropractic College Employee, Dr. John Mrozek
PASADENA, TX, April 30, 2022 – Texas Chiropractic College employee, Dr. John Mrozek, received the Large Club President of the Year award at the Rotary District 5890 Annual Conference this past April. President’s Liaison for Education and External Affairs at Texas Chiropractic College, Dr. Mrozek currently also serves as president of the Rotary Club of Pasadena. When asked about the award, Mrozek commented, “While the award is referred to as Large Club President of the Year, it truly reflects the efforts and hard work of our present and past members of the Rotary Club of Pasadena, Texas.”
The award received is a great distinction for the Pasadena Club and was given as a result of leadership leading to service to the local community, support of activities, contributions to the Rotary Foundation, and completion of the rotary club’s goals and projects. Among these goals was the One Million Dollar All Time Giving threshold which was both attained and exceeded by the Pasadena club.
The Pasadena Club is 85 years old and one of sixty-two clubs in Rotary District 5890. District 5890, comprised of over three thousand members, is a member of Chicago-based Rotary International. The Rotary Foundation focuses on major national and international areas, including peace and conflict resolution/prevention, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy, and economic and community development.
