Dear TCC Community,  

 

As the first month of the Spring 2026 trimester comes to a close, our community has already seen a steady rhythm of activity led by students, faculty, and staff. This newsletter reflects on highlights from January and the thoughtful efforts that helped set a positive tone for the trimester. Looking ahead, February brings a variety of upcoming events that offer opportunities to stay engaged and build on this momentum. I invite you to explore what’s been happening and what’s on the horizon as the trimester continues. 

 

January 2026 Event Highlights  

On January 9, our SBA hosted this trimester’s First Friday event which welcomed the TCC community back on campus, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie and excitement. Following the first week of this trimester, we proudly celebrated the achievements of Trimester 1, 4, and 7 students at the White Coat & Recognition Ceremony on January 22. With heartfelt speeches from faculty, the ceremony was a memorable occasion that underscored the importance of community and support within our academic environment.   

 

Closing out the first month of the year, we held a Technique Seminaron January 31. This seminar was a valuable hands-on experience that allowed students to practice new skills with various professionals in the field who volunteered their time and expertise to train future chiropractors. A special thank you to our alumni, Drs. Karlus Allen, Daniel Bruna, Jennifer Gardner-McMorris, James (Jay) Heintz, Lisa Rister, Brian Sansalone, Dawn Schwab and Montgomery Stanley, as well as faculty member Dr. Jeffrey Weiss, for contributing to the success of this event. I am grateful for your dedication and commitment to our students’ education and the future of chiropractic. 

 

Upcoming Event Opportunities  

On February 25 from 12-2pm, a Career and Networking Fair will take place in the SP Auditorium, hosted by the Office of Advancement & Alumni Engagement. This event provides students with a meaningful opportunity to build professional connections that may lead to shadowing experiences or future employment.  

 

Additionally, the Office of Postgraduate and Professional Education is offering a variety of upcoming events that support academic advancement, professional development, and continued learning, including its CE Spring Break Beach Weekend event and a CE Cruise that is launching later this year. I encourage everyone to bookmark the department’s calendar to stay up to date on current and future offerings at https://tccpostgrad.eventcalendarapp.com/.
