Dr. Cami Stastny and student Taryn Hill have joined the Texas Chiropractic College Board of Regents as the official faculty and student representatives with the titles Regent Ex-Officio (Faculty) and Regent Ex-Officio (Student). These additions will aid in providing important perspectives as decisions are made for the college. Stastny and Hill’s first official meeting with the Board will be held on July 23, 2022.

“Every student’s voice should be heard, and I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to represent my fellow schoolmates as the Student Representative of the Board of Regents,” commented Hill.

Dr. Cami Stastny, an alumna of TCC and an attending clinician in TCC’s Moody Health Center, was chosen to represent the faculty. “I’m looking forward to being the bridge between TCC faculty and the Board of Regents. This position affords me the opportunity to further immerse myself into the TCC culture and be part of the success of the institution as a whole,” she said.

TCC’s Chairman of the Board, Dr. Dawn Schwab, explained that these positions will allow for more information regarding how specific changes affect the constituents. “On behalf of the Board of Regents, I want to welcome Dr. Stastny and Ms. Hill as our faculty and student representatives. We look forward to working with them as we continue to move TCC and the chiropractic profession forward,” stated Schwab.
